Teachers, social workers, school psychologists and other members of the mental health community in Osceola County attended NAMI’s End the Silence during Children’s Mental Health Month. During the hour-long presentation, attendees heard from both individuals living with mental health conditions as well as their caretakers. End the Silence is a free program that teaches individuals how to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental illness while providing them with actionable tools for working with students and families.

Members of the Children’s Cabinet of Osceola County were presented with a proclamation from the Board of County Commissioners recognizing May 2019 as Children’s Mental Health Month in Osceola County.
